After working in corporate America for several years, Scott began investing in real estate seriously in 2008, and has been a full-time real estate investor since September 2013. He has invested in many types of real estate including commercial, residential, fix and flip, rental, wholesaling, money lending and rent to own.

After Joe LaBarbera graduated from high school in Rochester, NY and attended some college, he began working in construction and landscaping. Making minimum wage barely sustained him. Fed up with being broke and looking at a bleak, unprosperous future, he got involved in real estate looking for financial freedom and security.
He has been a full-time real estate investor since 2010. Joe does between 80 and 100 deals per year which involve wholesaling and flipping commercial and residential properties. He currently owns 42 units and is still growing his business.
Joe is passionate about investing in real estate. It has allowed him to work with and mentor others who also share his passion and eagerness to build their dreams.
With that in mind, Joe's presentation will explain how wholesaling is a great way to start. It is a viable strategy that can work for those with little or no money and is also designed for people who are already seasoned investors and want to know how to acquire properties that are off market and below market value. Joe will go over starting your business, marketing, looking at properties, negotiating, writing up purchase offers and the assignment sheets, as well as locating buyers. Start your own business in real estate using the information Joe shares.
Darlene Noeson (pronounced no EE sun) began her real start investing entrepreneurship when her husband watched an infomercial called “Pennies on the Dollar” and thought it would be a great idea. She was starting a new job as a registered nurse in Rochester and told him he would have to do this with minimal input from her. Those classes introduced them to Robert Kiyosaki and she was hooked. Her husband, on the other hand, has never taken another REI course.
Darlene joined Freedom First REIA and was a student of many aspects of Real Estate Investing. Now, over 10 years later, she is living the dream that her husband had, buying tax liens and holding mortgages on property that others lost to taxes. For her, Tax Liens are a way to invest when your first profession isn’t related to real estate.
